LIGHT AND SKIN CELL REJUVENATION
Light has been shown to rejuvenate cellular tissue. (Ref: here)
Beauticians use blue light for its known anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial/microbial effects to treat conditions such as acne and acne rosacea.
Red light has been shown to increase collagen production (read more here) and is used for this reason to reduce wrinkles and aging effects on skin.
A new wave of ‘beauty’ treatment is sweeping through the beautician industry using red, blue and sometimes near infra red light as a cosmetic facial rejuvenating treatment.
There are many home devices now available on the market such as lamps, facial light masks and LED light boards being used as anti-wrinkle and facial rejuvenation treatments. Some of these are useful however not all light sources are the same!
TREATING YOUR FACE IS TREATING YOUR WHOLE BODY
Did you know that our face has a huge array of acupuncture points located on its surface?
Giving yourself a ‘beauty’ treatment on the face is actually benefiting your whole body!
(Nervous system, vascular and endocrine systems).
An Experience of Face and Body Rejuvenation
One incident of a female medical practitioner, overworked and unwell, chose to give up her clinic practice work to ‘look after herself’ as she was experiencing a multitude of diverse health problems. She bought herself an ENAR device, a micro-current electro-stimulation feedback device often used to treat pain effectively. She applied the ENAR device nightly to her face, as she had been informed of its facial rejuvenating effects. After approximately 1 month of doing this, she noticed nearly all her ailments had diminished or disappeared, and friends were commenting on her refreshed, youthful, relaxed appearance. This experience demonstrates the potency of treating facial areas much beyond face skin-deep!
WHAT BENEFITS CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A SESSION?
Relaxation (a deep sense of it) is the first noticeable effect. This pleasant effect is not to be under-estimated. By relaxing the mind, the autonomic nervous system kicks into parasympathetic mode, making facial worry and stress lines ease and diminish. I often experience the joy of seeing people getting off the treatment table appearing many years younger (and lighter!)
HOW LONG DO I CONTINUE TREATMENT?
You may see changes immediately – even after the first session. However, since the energetic condition of organ systems varies between individuals, allow several treatments for results to show. Up to 20 sessions are recommended, twice weekly for people aged over 40 years of age and once weekly if younger.
You can speed the results by improving diet to reduce refined fats, sugars and animal proteins, increase fruit and vegetables, ensure bowels are working well, drinking pure water and exercising moderately.
DECREASE RECOVERY TIME AFTER SURGERY
The use of the Aura-Glo Photon-Stimulator may significantly decrease the recovery time of cosmetic surgery. Use prior to surgery and after surgery for faster healing time and less swelling and scar tissue.
HOW TO ACTIVELY INCREASING LIGHT’S EFFECTS
You can enhance the active absorption of light. Research has demonstrated that the effects are increased by up to 80% if the client actively relaxes and feels they are absorbing beautiful coloured light which will benefit them.
WHAT LIGHT SOURCES ARE BEST?
Light, even though it may look the same to the naked untrained eye, differs markedly, according to what source it is being generated from.
Incandescent globes generate light from burning of a tungsten filament. Even though these were phased out due to their reputation of being ‘non-eco-friendly’ due to its high energy usage, they are in fact one of the best sources of healthy light with a most balanced spectrum of colour emissions. .
Compact Flourescent, the popular replacement globes, burn mercury to generate light and as such, release toxic mercury vapours!
LEDS light sources are popularly used for facial rejuvenation devices. They have no filament or gases, - light is generated from diodes. While LED light is in itself effective in rejuvenating skin cells, there is an even better light source.
The globe in the photon-stimulator (used for facial rejuvenation treatments in the clinic) produces light by burning xenon gas (an inert noble gas). This pure gas has unique properties – its light is as close to ‘natural sunlight’ (full spectrum) as possible. As such, it is a perfectly suited light source, which our cells recognize as ‘natural’ so an be used optimally by our cells for rejuvenation.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A FACIAL REJUVENATION SESSION?
In a typical facial rejuvenation session (which is very relaxing), either both ENAR therapy and/or colour light from the Photon-Stimulator is applied to all parts of the face. In sweeping motions, first on the forehead, then over the corners of eyes, around eye orbits, nasal areas, cheeks, jaw and mouth, all areas are ‘gently massaged’ by light (and/or microcurrent). If just using light, the process takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes. If micro-current is also applied, an additional 15 minutes is required.
LIGHT AND ENAR
Facial marks and age spots reduce (due to the cellular oxidation processes caused by light)
Skin texture improves
Smoothness results (due to the light’s ability to clear surface toxins)
Facial ‘lifting’ occurs (due to improved lymphatic flow)
Conditions such as inflammatory acne is reduced (due to the light’s anti-bacterial/anti-inflammatory action)
Improved facial skin colour (due to increased blood flow)
Less ‘sagging’ under the eyes and chin
Reduction of pore size (due to the general tightening of skin resulting from cellular cleansing).
Overall you can expect
“A clearer, more beautiful glow while at the same time experience a slowing of the aging process”.
